Terms and Conditions of Reservation*
Please review the following before submitting your reservation request:
BY SUBMITTING THIS RESERVATION REQUEST, YOU ARE ACCEPTING AND AGREEING TO COMPLY WITH ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE BOOKDVC.COM WEBSITE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THE TERMS OF USE, PRIVACY POLICY, REFUND POLICY, AND GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY.
1. All quoted prices will include taxes and fees, except Hawaii which requires that the Aulani Resort collect a transient accommodation tax to be paid by the guest at the time of check-in.
2. Checking reservation availability is free.
3. If a selected reservation is not available, the renter will be contacted and advised of such. If similar possibilities exist, the BookDVC.com representative may advise the renter of similar availabilities.
4. If a selected reservation is available, the renter will be sent a link to make the required $79.00 booking deposit. This deposit protects DVC Members and acts as security to insure that the renter is committed to renting DVC points.
5. The $79.00 deposit will be refunded if the requested reservation request(s) cannot be fulfilled because the reservation is no longer available.
6. A renter may request a return of the $79.00 deposit (despite reservation availability) if, after two days from the initial deposit date, the reservation has not been fulfilled by a DVC Member.
7. If a successful reservation is made, the $79.00 deposit will be applied to the total amount due for the reservation.
8. If a successful reservation is made, the total cost of the reservation is due from the renter within 24 hours of the renter being provided with a reservation confirmation number. A failure to comply with the requirement may result in the reservation being released and the deposit forfeited.
9. All Sales are Final. No refunds will be given. Cancellations, upgrades and date modifications are not permitted. The lead guest name cannot be changed following the reservation.
10. External travel insurance is highly recommended, but is not provided directly by BookDVC.com. Although some options are highlighted on the BookDVC.com website, BookDVC.com does not endorse, support, or warrant any insurance product provided by any party.
11. Passport / Visa Requirements: If you reside outside of the United States and are not a citizen or legal resident of the United States, you will be required to present a valid passport in order to enter and exit the United States. Visa requirements may also apply.
International Citizens without a valid passport will be refused entry to the United States and deported to their Country of Origin. It is the renter's responsibility to ensure that all travel requirements are satisfied.
12. All funds are in United States dollars. Renters from outside of the United States are encouraged to check with their credit card issuers about the possibility of foreign exchange fees, or cross border fees. Not all credit card issuers charge additional fees.
13. Neither BookDVC.com, nor any shareholder or affiliate shall be held responsible in any manner for travel that is interrupted or cancelled on account of Hurricanes, Thunderstorms, High Winds, Snow, War, Terrorist Activity, Pandemic, Epidemic, or any other unforeseeable event or Act of God, either natural or unnatural. The incidents noted herein are merely examples of such incidents covered by this section and are not exclusive. This is a non-refundable purchase.

How Far in Advance Should I Make My DVC Reservation?

Resort Availabilities differ based on the resort, room type, time of year, and length of stay. The following are general guidelines for how far out a reservation should be booked to ensure availability. However, please check with us even if you’re far closer than the suggested times as cancellations occur and rooms often come available, even at the most premium resorts.

Last Minute availabilities for shorter stays are fairly common at Saratoga Springs and Old Key West, although usually with limited room selection. The exceptions to this rule are holidays, summer, and special events. Availabilities at Vero Beach and Hilton Head are highly seasonal, but there are usually rooms available off-season.

How Does This Reservation Request Work?

After completing and submitting the Disney Vacation Club Rental Request Form, BookDVC will check availability for your request. If the reservation is available, we will invoice a refundable $79 Deposit. After the deposit is paid, we will make the reservation. The remaining payment is due within 24 hours of receiving the DVC reservation confirmation.

Is My DVC Reservation Safe and Guaranteed?

Reservations are guaranteed by BookDVC. Because our Disney Vacation Club rentals are made exclusively by equity holders and large stakeholders, we have never had an owner cancellation over thousands of successful trips.

We throughly believe that our “closed” rental system is safer for everyone than rival “open” systems used by other brokers, which allow hundreds of individuals owners to make reservations.

What Happens If I Need to Modify a DVC Reservation?

Most DVC rental companies charge for name modifications and prohibit date changes outright.

At BookDVC, we will allow name changes for non-primary guests, and will review date modifications for availability and point feasibility on a case by case basis.

How Will I Know That My DVC Reservation Has Been Made?

A reservation confirmation number will be provided as soon as the reservation is made.

For Walt Disney World reservations: the confirmation number can be entered into the MyDisney Experience App and linked with fastpass + and dinner reservations. This should be done as soon as soon as possible to identify any issues. The most common problem occurs when a party has two members with the same name, as the Disney system notoriously struggles with this issue. It is an easy fix, but can affect fastpasses if not timely discovered.

How Do I Know How Many Points I Need for a DVC Reservation?

Renters may use the points calculators located on the Homepage or individual Hotel pages to determine how many points are needed for a given reservation.

Simply select the resort (on the individual Hotel pages, the resort will be preselected); choose the room type and view; and select the check-in and check out dates.

Do You Require the Payment to be Made Upfront?

A $79.00 Refundable Deposit is required prior to booking. If a reservation is subsequently fulfilled, the deposit will be applied to the total cost of the reservation. If a reservation is not fulfilled, the Deposit will be refunded.

Following confirmation that the reservation has been made, the full cost of the DVC rental is due from the renter within 24 hours.

Requiring full payment when the reservation is made helps keep our costs down (which we pass on to renters). It also avoids the unpleasant realities that sometimes occur when things are financed.

How Does Housekeeping Work with DVC?

For stays of fewer than 8 days, guests will receive trash only service each day and new towels and toiletries on Day 4, but no full cleaning. For stays of 8 days or more, members get a full cleaning on Day 4.

Additional housekeeping services are available for a fee.

Are there Laundry Facilities at the DVC Resorts?

Yes! Every DVC Resort has free laundry facilities that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The facilities are accessible with a room key or Magic Band.

Additionally, all 1-Bedroom and larger rooms have washers and dryers in the room.
