About Wilderness Lodge
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a Pacific Northwest-themed Deluxe Villa Resort located on the shore of Bay Lake in the Magic Kingdom resort area at Walt Disney World. Inspired by the early-twentieth-century lodges of the American West, Copper Creek offers guests a rugged, outdoorsy retreat with a refined finish, all just a short boat ride from the Magic Kingdom.
Copper Creek opened in 2017 as the newer DVC addition to Wilderness Lodge and offers a wider variety of accommodations than any other Wilderness Lodge wing. Options include Deluxe Studios with kitchenettes, one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas with full kitchens, three-bedroom Grand Villas, and the resort’s signature waterfront Cascade Cabins built right over Bay Lake on stilts. Villa guests enjoy access to the headlining Copper Creek Springs Pool with its 67-foot waterslide and erupting geyser, as well as the more secluded Boulder Ridge Cove Pool.
Dining at Wilderness Lodge is a destination in its own right. Storybook Dining at Artist Point hosts a character dinner with Snow White and friends in an enchanted forest setting, while Whispering Canyon Cafe delivers a rowdy, all-you-care-to-enjoy skillet of comfort food with playful service. Geyser Point Bar & Grill offers casual lakeside dining with sweeping views of Bay Lake, and the resort is a quick boat ride from Magic Kingdom and a short walk from Fort Wilderness.
Booking Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge through a DVC rental can save guests up to 70% off the standard Disney retail rate. Deluxe Studios, one-bedroom villas, two-bedroom villas, three-bedroom Grand Villas, and waterfront Cascade Cabins are all available, making this resort an exceptional choice for couples celebrating a special occasion, families wanting a rustic-luxe Magic Kingdom-area stay, and large groups seeking a memorable Walt Disney World vacation.
